The theme of this bachelor´s thesis is a project of the house with office for business activities. The projected building should be located in the village Jemnice in the street ,, Na Předlískách ". It is a one-storey house with attic and a separate garage, which is situated on midly sloping land. The house is built of brick blocks POROTHERM. The ceiling of the house is made out of fundamentals roof Miako. The partitions are combination of brick systems POROTHERM and Knauf plasterboard partitions. The roof is top with purlins at King post truss roofed and concrete roofing KM-BETA.

The impact of foreign direct investments on economic growth: the case of Ghana

This thesis seeks to investigates the effects of FDI on the Ghana’s gross domestic product advancement. The study applied the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model using data from the World Bank from 1990 to 2021. The Johansen cointegration test indicated a prolong persistent association between the variables. The Collinearity test using the BKW indicates no existence of perfect combination of the explanatory variables. However, the empirical findings displayed that in the long run FDI had no significant effect on the GDP expansion in Ghana whereas there was a positive short-term influence. The study entreats the government and GIPC to continue to strengthen the measures that help to attract FDIs to Ghana and focus on creating a enabling environment for these investments to strive and yield positive economic growth impact in the long run as well.

The End of an Era? The Olympic Idea at the Turn of the Millennium, and the Path to the Postmodern Olympic Games

This thesis is an analysis of the extensive transformation of the Olympic movement, which occurred at the end of the 20th century. The main focus is on the importance of the XXIII Olympiad in Los Angeles, regarded as a major milestone in the history of the modern Olympic movement. The introductory chapter deals with the 1970s' crisis of the Olympic movement. The second chapter describes the complications related to the allocation of the Olympic Games to Los Angeles. Based on the XXIII Olympiad, the third and the fourth chapter analyse the revolution in Olympic marketing. The objective of the fifth chapter is to demonstrate the need for the financial independence of the Olympic movement in the context of the Cold War, the Soviet boycott in particular. The last two chapters deal with the commercialization of the Olympic movement, the reform of the IOC and the discussion regarding the timeliness of the Olympic values.
